The quality of the food does not warrant its price. We ordered 2 spider rolls, 4 kinds of nigiri and 1 tempura set. The bill was $98! And it didn’t taste nearly as good as other Japanese restaurants that charge half the price! The food is not authentic at all.We are never going back again. Such a rip-off!
I really like the sushi here. The sushi at Akane are excellent and the selection of fish from all over the world is just amazing. Prices are on the high side but the quality, selection and service justify such pricing fully.
Amazing. I have a new true love.. I am not the best sushi snob, nor a sake snob. But to be frank, this is the best sushi place I have ever been to. Not only is the ambiance good, but the chefs are friendly and helpful, the fish is fresh, and the helpings are generous. I will say, it is VERY expensive, but worth every penny. When I go loyal to a Sushi place, it is for years.I have only been one time, and this is my new love.
Nothing fancy, bit really excellent sushi. Some of the best we’ve had. Plus, space shuttle plates for the lil one!
