Every time I come to Palo Alto to visit I have dinner here. The last three times the food AND service has gotten progressively worse. My favorite is the currywurst but the curry is now vey bland instead of a typical brot I got a rye something. After living for 10 years in Germany I know German food. Yes the help is lousy at best from my previous. Why is the bus boy taking orders? After clearing a table he takes an order without washing his hands and provides silverware. Sad to say for my family dinner I won’t return here.
AMAZING food and service!! My family of six could not get enough–we tried six different breakfast entrees and still bought pastries to go! Plentiful portions and authentic homemade everything–<3 German coffee w/ cream, raw sugar & cinnamon-Yum!
Great food!. On a whim I tried this place, the atmosphere is cute, very cozy and homie, exactly what you would want in a local bakery. The food is rich, so I’d recommend sharing with a friend, otherwise you might feel like you’ve gone a bit over board.
