I went for breakfast and it was seat yourself service which I’m always a little leery of but I digressed and grabbed a high top table right in front of the bar. Now I’m a relatively large man, 6’5 290 pounds so I’m not very easy to miss but apparently the morning I was there I was invisible. For the better part of 12 mins I not only made eye contact with each server and the bartender I was outright ignored. Initially I thought it might have been the case that the wait staff was a little weeded and just needed to catch up, which as a server for years at a variety of restaurants I completely understand, but as more guest arrived and more time ticked by, I watched them not only clean the tables off for these guests but also begin service, and I still hadn’t received a menu. I was so upset about the way I was treated I didn’t even stay to eat, I left, completely unacknowledged. I fly out of Long Beach every few months and hadn’t tried this place just yet, I’ll give them another chance next time but I was beyond dissapointed this time around.
