I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. It’s one of our favorite spots for yakitori. It’s a small place and reservations is recommended couple days before. They may be able to squeeze you in if you call that same day but you will have to be out at a certain time to accommodate those who did reserve. Most of the items on their menu is pretty good. I recommend ordering their items off the special menu which they put up on their blackboard. If you see grilled fish on there, get it!! The prices on their yakitori is not that bad but just be careful, you can easily spend $100 for just a party of 2. If you plan on having grilled rice ball order that first before you start ordering the rest of your meal. It takes awhile for them to make. Sumika salad is a nice starter and the green tea creme brle is a nice ending. I would give this place 5 stars but there is one waitress there that we have gotten 3 times that has a bad attitude, or maybe it’s just her personality, I don’t know but it’s a bit offensive. Other than that the rest of the staff is pretty awesome and helpful.

Exceptional eatery in South Bay. Subtle flavours marked the well-prepared food at this exceptional restaurant in south bay. We ordered 12 dishes, including dessert, among the four of us and two of our favourites are the grilled lamb chops and crab and miso cheese gratin. The lamb was done to perfection. And we were surprised that the miso cheese gratin did not drown out the crab. Even the teriyaki chicken was not doused in teriyaki sauce, another nice surprise. Service was adequate but not enough vegetables on the menu. Will definitely go back. foodsparks.blogspot.com
