This place used to be a lot better.I used to live in the area and knew the place very well at some point. Its not the same anymore and the quality has taken a step back while the prices increased. The portions are still very generous and thats a plus.I suggest a better happy hour menu.Service was decent.

Fresh sushi, wide variety. Rhythm & blues (seared tuna with ponzu) yellowtail & jalpeno, sexy girl roll (shrimp tempura with mango) 911 roll (spicy tuna with avocado & spicy mayo) are all amazing. There is usually a wait, and they kick you out promptly at closing time. Still, some of the best sushi ever.
Great sushi and happy hour specials! Fish was fresh, salad had lots of this gross weird dressing, but rest of the food was good 🙂
Favorite Sushi place. I love Sushi Studio. It’s just a shame that it burned down. I’ve been waiting so long for it to open again. It’s just a real nice cult place for the csulb students to come to. The sushi specials are so good. Man I miss those sexy girls.
Moving from Hawaii where we have the freshest and best seafood/sushi. This place was one of the first sushi bars I’ve been to and I absolutley loved it. Their happy hour specialty rolls are to die for. Great sake and good atmosphere. People where waiting in line just to get in! My favorite roll would have to be the sexy girl. If you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about. Loved it give it two thumbs up!!
Sushi Variety. This is the first sushi restaurant I ever went to that had the biggest variety. I think they were ahead of their time. Now most sushi restaurants have a huge variety.
