We sat outside on a perfect summer evening just as the sun was setting. The owner Salvatore greeted us with sun tanned cheeks. This is authentic Italian cuisine in La Canada. Besides pasta, they offer some fish dishes that include Swordfish, sole with capers, salmon and a whole Brazino. I tried the lentil soup with a spinach, pear and pecorino cheese salad. They bake their own bread here and make a lovely tomato bruschetta.There are CA wines that include a La Crema Chardonnay that is ideal with a creamy pasta. Save room for the desserts – They make their own tiramisu, Panna cotta with strawberries, and flourless chocolate cake. It’s next to a UA theater and near the 2 freeway. dineandtravel.wordpress.com

Cjanebuy. Over the years, this restaurant has offered a highly pleasing Italian menu. Recently under new ownership, the menu remains the same with some upgrade of restaurant decor. Very good professional service and although it isn’t listed on the menu, the chef will prepare spaghetti a la carbonara. Fabulously good!
