This is one of La Canadas best Mexican restaurants. Located in the Gelsons shopping mall, the have the worlds best guacamole cart rolled to your table and made right before your eyes. Order the tacos, tostadas, burritos and frijitas. The margaritas are great here. All the servers are nice. The chips are served warm and the salsa is fresh. dineandtravel.wordpress.com
First time visiting and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Los Gringos! Easy to find off the freeway. Ordered the Guacamole made to order. It was delicious, so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Also had a house margarita – very good and the medium was Big! The chicken Street tacos were great, as was the steak quesadilla. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!!
I have been a regular at this establishment for over fifteen years. The staff are friendly and the food is pretty consistent with quality. I love their made to order guacamole and well, everything I have tried. When they moved to their current location, I did notice a decline in quality and service the first few times I came in, however, every subsequent visit has been much better, just as it was. My drink or the table salsa never gets low. The margaritas are really special, if you like them in the sweeter side, like me. If you’re in La Caada, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
My dad and I were looking for some savory fajitas and we got the exact opposite; the shrimp and steak were over cooked…The veggies were flavorless, and not to forget they gave us the wrong size!!! The food wasn’t the only disappointment… The service was awful, took ten minutes for the check:( I do not recommend this to a friend!
Don’t expect authentic Mexican food. Service was not great. The barbacoa was not good at all. The one plus was the fresh guacamole that is made to order. Other than that, no bueno!!!
Yawn. I don’t get this place. No ambiance. Forgettable food. Lazy service. I gave them a chance and they made nothing of it. I won’t be back.
