  Good food but who knew…. In today’s economy I understand that every business has to watch their costs in order to survive. But in this case I think it’s a bit much, even for a fast food restaurant. Here is my story and you decide. I go to Panda Express with my wife and seven month old daughter. My wife and I each get a meal and a drink. I also buy a bottled water for our daughter. I get to our table and realize, I need a cup for our daughter, she still can’t drink out of the plastic bottle. So I go to the counter and explain to the cashier that I need a cup for the water for my daughter. She then hands me a Styrofoam cup, to which of course I say, ah I need a regular cup because my daughter sometimes like biting the cup she is drinking out of and the Styrofoam cup may break. To which she replies by shrugging her shoulders and saying that’s what we have. Hah? I tell her no what I need is one of the children’s cups that you have. To which she says I can only give you that cup if you buy a meal. Well you get the picture, I explained again and after all that both her and the manager looked at me and said if you want the cup you have to buy it. So I paid $1.49 for a cup that I could use to poor the water from the plastic bottle I had just purchased from them. It’s sad really when a place that serves food puts more of a premium on selling you a soda cup then on the customer.Justin
