A fun place to dine al fresco. The fried chicken is delightful, and the ability to let the kids run around and play cannot be understated. Be careful about having lunch here mid-day as it can get seriously hot.
Got a party? Skip Malibu Cafe. Restraraunt policy prevents them from splitting the check, and they will only take three credit cards. Don’t expect an explaination, because you should have noticed the non-descript disclaimer in the corner of the menu.Save your money and hit up one other much better restaraunts in the area.
Seriously?!. This place triples the price of wine that they serve from their wine list, as so many restaurants do these days, but then they charge $40, yes $40, as a corkage fee if you want to bring your own bottle! That’s just plain greedy! For this reason alone I will never go back!
An oasis in the mountains!. What an experience. I spent nearly half the day here with friends. It’s great for big groups. Bottomless mimosas were strong and always flowing! Service was wonderful and friendly. I got the eggs benedict which were amazing. My friends had the banana bread french toast which was out of this world! Definitely book a table in advance and if it’s hot, request one under the water misters. It’s worth the drive from LA!
Great place to eat and take the kids.
