Sistah’s Soul Food –Simply the Best!!!!. I tried Sistah’s on New Year’s day for a family gathering and it was so great. It tasted like the food my sisters and I normally prepare!!!! Like soul food from our kitchen!!!I love their try before you buy–so you are never stuck with anything. The food was simply awesome… I will never cook soul food at home again!!!
Good tasting healthy soul food. How I came to find Sistah’s soul food, I was talking to an African American male and at some point in the conversation I asked him if he knew were I could get some good soul food, and a white police officer sitting in his car said I do, I don’t no why but I found it funny but he told me were to go and even told me what he had and how good it was. So I went to check it out and to my surprise I was greeted with a friendly smile, and can I help you sir, I started asking about the menu before I could say much else I was tasting her greens cooked with smoked turkey necks, after sampling a few other side dishes I told her I had high blood pressure and couldn’t eat salt, I was informed she hardly used any salt at all, well needless to say I’ve been eating their every sense. Her Turkey meatloaf is so moist and tender and seasoned to perfection, I also recommend the apple cobbler or lemon cake. Oh! How about this .Sistahs Soul Food is a resturant everybody must try,These sistahss are cooking deep down south like someones Grandmother Or Greatgrandmother.The Peach cobbler Apple cobbler and Bannana Puddimg And they have sugra free desrets.No other place have Ive thats this damm good .No salt NO pork I swear I could not belive it myself ……Wake Up Long Beach and any other City This resturant is blowing others out the water
Pure Joy. I enjoy the yams and green, they were seasoned just right. I also had the turkey loaf for the first time and I loved it. The service was great and the facility was nice. I enjoyed the out doors arera.
