Ribs & Chicken take-out. We tried them once. Not anything to write home about that’s positive. Real BBq should be tender and have a smokie taste from the cooking process, not from from the sauce put on the ribs or chicken. This owner needs to take a short drive to Sandra-Dees in Sac town and experience real south BBQ with southern sides. Yuba City area needs a Real Rib place- sorry to say Porky’s has a ways to go to get it right. If you’re going to charge the higher prices for a take-out meal you’ve got to improve the product to be REAL. I hope they pay attention.

Don’t Bother …. Horrible!! Chicken was Dry. The Ribs were not cooked enough. They used the cheapest bottled BBQ sauce they could find. The potato salad did not even taste home made. The only positive thing that I can say is that they were very friendly. …. I will NEVER go back.

How Much?. Let me start by saying that I appreciate a business that brings jobs to our area. Unfortunately, the food was just edible and didn’t subdue my craving for BBQ. I had the Tri-Tip sandwich with baked beans as a lunch special with no drink. It came to $9.69 out the door. One comment below talked about the buns, yes, they were the cheapest buns you can buy and they are the ones that you have to pull half the bread out of so you can taste what is in your sandwich. The Meat was edible, barely any flavor and was nothing great to talk about.. The beans? Definately out of a can, prolly straight from Sam’s Club. I won’t go back to try anything else due to paying too much and being disappointed on the next trip. I wish them Good Luck though, times are tough for everyone.
