Cheap, fast and tasty. That’s all you need to know folks, it won’t break your bank, even if the line is long it moves pretty fast, and the food tastes good.
Good veg options. The lamb was awesome!
This place is lovely!! If you enjoy lamb this is the BEST place to go! I had the kabai masala lamb and it was LOADED with lg chucks of lamb well covered in a sweetly spicy ‘special’ sauce. Pick up a few chucks of lamb with a ripped piece of their fresh hot naan and you’ll be a happy camper!!
I had the 2 veggie combo plate while the sig other had 2 meat combo plate. Both were very dissapointing. I ordered Bangan bertha and malai kofta. They both tasted the same and looked very much the same when they really shouldnt. The meat dishes were also poor. Vthe skin was left on the chicken in the chiken curry, and the lamb curry left on too much of the fat. Outside seating was surprisingly comfortable but the place is in the middle of business parks and not on a main road by other commercial establishments.
This place is too expensive and when I got the chicken curry here it had chunks of fat on it not to mention the portions are so small for the price they charge ….won’t be going back.
My Wife’s Craving!. So my wife, who’s 20 weeks pregnant with our first son, decided she HAD to have some indian food, and sent me on my way to fulfill her craving! She’d found Punjabi Tandoor, and we drive by it often so although I knew exactly where it was, we’d never eaten there. When I arrived, the first thing that struck me was the place was packed! There were easily 15 or 20 people dining both on the outdoor patio and inside. The restaurant is located in a primarily business area, and is not exactly a place for ambiance, but with that many people driving in to eat, it made a great first impression. I ordered our meals, and within 15 minutes was on my way home. We both ordered Combo Meal #4, which comes with two meat curries. I had the Rohan Josh and Lamb Vindalu, and my wife had the Chicken Tika Masala and the Chicken Palak. Both meals came with Rice and a huge amount of hot Naan. The rice was perfectly cooked and the curries, were all delicious! I was a bit concerned about the serving size, but honestly, we were both stuffed by the time we were through. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone how loves a great curry!
Not a keeper. Quite disappointing. I had such high hopes after seeing the high 80’s rating. The tables were not clean. When they came to clean the table. The rag used to clean the table looked like it needed cleaning itself. The food was not fantastic. In fact it was borderline. The chicken tikka masala was not very good. The tandoori chicken was very bland. A little cleanup and a bit more attention to the quality of the food would bring this restaurant more business. What’s going for them is their breads and the nice punjabi family behind the counter.
