Ditto. I could write a whole long review but Andrew D says everything I’d say. Claim Jumper is kind of just a big ok. You’ll end up here for some office lunch or a family event because it’s safe, but really it surprises me that people line up and wait for this food.
What is not to like.
Big heap of forgettable. The food’s OK, but nothing special. The portions are big, but the flavors aren’t.The salad was so-so. The lettuce seemed fresh, but the dressing was just too heavy.And then what did I have? No really, I think I forgot. The food is really that forgettable.For the money, this place is overpriced. The variety is great, but no single food item is great.
Claim Jumper. We have stopped in several times and tried a variety of dishes. None we very tasty or appealing. We did do their Thanksgiving dinner last year and it was wonderful….reason we returned a few more times. If Thanksgiving is offered again we will probably go but not until then nor after.I guess their food is not for those who really know good food.
Portions are huge and delicious!
