Worst experience ever. Where do I even begin to describe the horrible experience I had at this place. The owners are the most disrepectful people I have ever met. Had a engagement party at Hatam’s. A day before the party, owner called to say the price of the cake was misquoted and would be double:( An hour before the party she called to say she did not have glasses for drinks(yes a restuarant did not have glasses!!) Party was scheduled to start at 7, when I arrived nothing was set up, and another party was there. Even tho on the front door said reserved for private party starting at 7:00 She proceded to tell me was scheduled for 7:30, she then called my fiancee and her family liars when she changed the prices of everything. We had documentation of all prices before hand. She turned what should have been a joyful occassion into an utter nightmare. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau over the very shady business practices and considering a lawsuit for slander. I cannot emphasis enough to never ever have a party there or frequent this establishment. The owner has no remorse, I asked for a simple apology and got nothing, so writing this as a warning to all to avoid this place
Hatam is awesome. Great food and huge portions! Our fave is the ground sirloin kabobs and rice. One of the best meals in town.
Not Mediterranean Food. We live right around the corner so I’m going to try not to be mean, but this place is not Mediterranean food and should not be listed as such. There food was tasteless and trust me I know Mediterranean food! There’s a big difference in taste and texture between Persian food and Mediterranean. I did not like the food at all.
Great Food and Catering. My family always gets their catering done from Hatam and each time they have done a great job. (Their prices are great for catering too!) I would like to say that my knowledge of Iranian food is pretty vast, being that I am Iranian and I eat this kind of food every day, and I think Hatam is wonderful. If you really want great Iranian food, go to Hatam.
Major disappointment. Not sure when they went off the rails. We used to really enjoy this place. This time it was flavorless dry food (beef and chicken barg) tasted pan fried not charcoal grilled. Bad service. Didn’t even make a dent in our meals. Waiter and manager stepped up and made it right, but food quality has declined.
Best Persian food in orange county!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kabob. We get take out from here and it is always good. Large portions, mounds of rice, great flavors.Real reasonable for what you get.
