No longer a customer. First time I’d been to the Mission Viejo Stacks and ordered breakfast to go. The waitress was sweet, the food was fast but the meal was tasteless. I ordered an omelet with many veggies to be folded in. The eggs were over cooked (rubbery in texture) the veggies were just poured in one half of the omelet. There was so much liquid from the mushrooms and spinach that when I opened the box the omelet was swimming in the excess water. Not a good first impression………………………………………………….

I think the fact that mission Viejo is starving for breakfast restaurants that this place gets such high rave reviews. Personally I thought the total experience was okay at best.

A Taste of Hawaii at Stacks Pancake House Does your mouth water at the thought of waffles drizzled with the perfect amount of syrup? Do you love the taste of a decadent coconut macadamia pancake? Well, if you do, then Stacks Pancake house would be perfect for you! From pancakes to waffles to eggs and bacon, this restaurant has every breakfast food you could ever imagine! This family friendly restaurant is great for all ages! There are choices that everyone in the family could choose from and be completely satisfied with. Stacks Pancake House is right on the corner of Marguerite and Crown Valley, and is a casual dining restaurant. It is always a full house at Stacks, and it is does not always have enough seats to accommodate everyone! Outdoor seating is provided if you want to enjoy the perfect Southern California weather while you feast upon heaps of delicious food. The food is very reasonable, and leaves you stuffed and satisfied! The Coconut Macadamia pancakes are the specialty entre of Stacks. It comes with gigantic pancakes with Macadamias cooked inside the pancake. It has the perfect amount of Coconut syrup poured upon, and a swirl of whipped cream giving the pancake a finished look. The syrup is not too sweet, the macadamia nuts are still slightly crunchy, and the whipped cream gives the pancakes a perfect touch. With every bite, youre always wanting more! One of the more unusual specialties on the menu is the Captain Crunch French Toast. Although these two foods are extremely different, they somehow compliment each other very nicely! The French toast is cooked to perfection, and has a layer of Captain Crunch giving the French toast a crunch. Kids love this choice, and it is even adult favorite as well! Who would have ever thought of mixing these two? If it was a mistake, if surely was a great one! If you are not in the breakfast mood, Stacks has many lunch options. Teryaki Chicken, the turkey avocado melt, and the chicken Katsu salad are just a few of the fabulous lunch choices. The teriyaki chicken is a charbroiled tender chicken breast, with a teriyaki sauce coating the top giving it a savory taste. The turkey avocado melt has turkey breast, swiss cheese, and slices of avocado all on sourdough bread. The crunch of the sourdough bread, the taste of the seasoned turkey breast, and the swiss cheese are enough to keep you coming back for more. The chicken katsu salad is a definite winner for the salads. The lettuce is freshly cut, the tomatoes are mixed in, and the chicken katsu is a breaded chicken that is crunchy on the outside, but very tender on the inside. The chicken katsu gives the salad a excellent flavor, that you will never forget. All of these options are also served with a choice of Macaroni salad, French fries, or fresh fruit. Stacks is truly one of the best Pancake houses around. Many peopole enjoy Stacks for its unique Hawaiian Breakfast and Lunch menu. It is like a taste of Hawaii right in the midst of California! With the variety of options, your breakfast craving has no limit! I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food. You will never be disappointed, and you will always leave Stacks satisfied with a smile!
