I ordered Gyro meat plate with Greek salad and lemon potatoes for the sides. It was quite possibly the most delicious lunch I have had in years!!! Homemade flavors and textures, huge portions and friendly service. My mouth is still watering and I wish I could just eat more!!!!
Word of mouth led us here. We drove in from Newport Beach to pursue our search for the perfect gyro. I think we found it here. The Tzaki sauce is rich, perfectly seasoned and creamy just as it is suppose to be. The meat is superior to any other we tried in California. My friend and I shared their big salad. It was very fresh and loaded with many different veggies. The dressing is a very tasty and probably made on site. The workers were very efficient and woman helping us was very helpful in suggestions for my friend’s special dietary needs. My only suggestion is to plan on eating before or after dinner time. The place was packed so we had to wait till someone left. Overall it was an amazing experience. It is definitely worth the drive in from Newport.
YUMMMMIIII. Had my first best gyro since leaving Chicago. My new favorite place. The price was about the same as other gyro places but much better quality, freshness and larger food portion. The people working here are very nice and helpful too. They’re very versed on special diet needs. My new favorite place.
Best in OC. Gyro plate here was fantastic! Meat was juicy and had the perfect flavor, pita was warm and delicious, side Greek salad was good, hummus was wonderful, but my favorite part was most definitely the yummy tzatziki sauce (and they give you plenty, unlike other places)! Not to mention the price was really reasonable for a big dinner (I think 9 bucks). I will be going back here time and again!
Great Greek food and caters to Gluten Free needs. Awesome Greek food – fresh, affordable, tasty. I’m putting reviews everywhere not only because I’m a new fan of this place, but they were able to cater to my wife’s gluten intolerance. The owner’s daughter is a nutritionist and she has totally educated herself on what menu items are GF. Most are – marinates are GF, etc, etc. They’ll even grill meat away from pita bread. My wife can have most of what’s on the menu and loves it. I have tried the stuff she can’t eat – meatballs, gyro, pita, etc. Love it all. But hard to beat their chicken and steak souvlaki (skewers). Just a great place with a caring owner, really tasty ingrediants and quality healthy food that still feels/tastes decadent!
Luv the chicken salad. Haven’t had a chicken salad like this in a long time. All the ingredients are very fresh. Was told the salad dressing is made at the restaurant. The chicken took a while to cook but it’s fresh not pre cooked. I refuse to eat Shawarma at other locations because of salmonella in chicken sitting out all day.I tried the Sizzling Feta and Tzaki dips with their pita. GREAT,.
Not sure about it and will try it again. The order missed a side I ordered despite not being busy. Had the chicken & steak plate. The steak was over cooked & tasteless. Best part was the pita bread.
