Make sure you spend enough. We visited just recently and were really looking forward to a tasty gyro, but instead we got served a very bad experience. Staff is very rude here. My gf and I are trying to cut portion sizes so we ordered a big fat greek gyro to split. The cashier said that it is only for one person and that we had to order more. He gave us a hard time and made me feel embarrassed like I was trying to be cheap. We used to go once every 2 weeks, but I will never eat here again. I cannot believe how terrible the customer service is. I didn’t see anywhere on the menu that there is a minimum order or that you cannot split items. I should be able to order anything I want and do anything I want with it. Clearly however there is a $15 minimum for two people eating here, and be prepared to catch attitude from the cashier.
Great Greek. I read the reviews about really good inexpensive Greek food and we were very pleased the reviews steered us to Surfin Souvlaki. We can recommend the chicken with the new garlic spread, the filet mignon, and the gyro plate. My son stated the beans were the best, and the lemon potatoes were a hit with all. If it weren’t for the distance between here and Minneapolis, I’d eat here weekly.
