Last time I was in Modesto (3 years ago) I ate here and it was good. Came back this business trip and enjoyed my meal again. Consistent comfort food sided with fresh steamed vegi’s is always a good thing.

Oh well – at least the portions are large. Tried the place three times to be fair — there won’t be a fourth. Service is really terrible, went for lunch and it took 40 minutes to get out food. Then the food was boring. My friends Chicken salad was skimped on the chicken, my Medium Rare steak was darn near Tartar raw, with all the Gristle left on it. Trying to carve off gristle with a steak knife on a raw steak is a real challenge!The only thing that was excellent was the Ice Tea and French Fries. Save your money at this location, they’ve got issues!
Disappointing. The actual entrees themselves have been good, but the side dishes are very lackluster. Service is poor. Trying to enjoy dinner, and a manager was sitting 2 tables away talking to an employee, letting her know she was being laid off. This did not make for an enjoyable dining experience. This restaurant just opened about a month ago in Modesto, but it already looks shabby inside. I won’t be going back.Addendum to above review: I e-mailed corporate headquarters after this incident, and they never bothered to respond, so now I definitely won’t be going back.
It’s DEE-licious!!! The service was great and the food was better!! You get tons of food for what you pay!!! Take the left overs home! Not bad for only being open a few weeks
Whole lotta nothin’. Service was extremely poor and slow. From the time of arrival to taking our food order it was approximately 30 minutes. It even took 5 full minutes to get a server after asking for one. Didn’t get a coffee refill for 25 minutes after receiving the first cup. The portions are wastefully large and unnecessary and the food quality was mediocre. On the good side the staff was friendly, apologetic, and the surroundings clean and comfortable. Didn’t see a manager in the dining room and seemed like there was a lot of confusion amongst the staff. May try again to see if they can get it together.
