First time. Saw the high reviews so took my family of sixth have dinner at hunan. I asked a customer that was leaving and said it was the best in town. Place looks nice and clean only one couple was there before us. We asked an older lady to help us choose on what to get so we had spring rolls, chow mein, fried rice, Kung pao chicken and orange chicken. Food was good but we found a thin piece of wire in the fried rice than we told the elder lady and she said it will be at no charge for the rice and my wife found what appeared to be an eye lash on the orange chicken my wife and my girls told me not to say anything but I still did the lady seemed to ignore me and said nothing was there so I told a younger waiter but nothing was done. They probably thought I wanted free food so I tipped them the amount of the rice. It made me feel uncomfortable because I was letting them know so they can be more careful. But this was the first and last time for us

Great food at good prices.
Wow this restaurant is great! The prices aren’t bad, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but you can’t beat the food. This Is probably my favorite restaurant in Modesto.
