Decent fare and excellent prices for the quantity of food and drink. The all day happy hour/ tavern menu is an excellent value when popping in for a quick lunch and a cold one. I’ll update my review upon my next visit.
This place must have changed owners because we’ve eaten here several times when passing thru Modesto & loved this place. This time the menu has totally changedis now overpriced for awful italian food in my opinion.There are no vegetables in any of the dishes except maybe pizza. All pasta dishes are NO less than $14.50except one or two. How sad but wewill never be back again. I ordered the steak & it was tough, overcooked with horrible country potatoes scatteted on the plate. My husband had the pasta which tasted like canned chef boyardee. Sorry; but we will not be back again.
A good Carino’s. We often seek out Carino’s and so do our friends, so the four of us met here for dinner. We each had something different, the combo for my wife, a Tuscan Ribeye for me, a Cobb Salad and Spicy Romano Chicken for the other two. The big hits were the Cobb Salad and the lasagna from the combo, though everything else was good. I wasn’t feeling like Italian and the steak was good, but not really a good choice here. It was a good meal overall and the service was quite good.
