Delicious!!!!!!!. My husband and I were looking for a good Japanese place to eat. I was originally looking for a Benihana style food but this popped up on reviews so we decided to give it a try. While they don’t have fried rice which my husband loves, they have a very wide variety of selections to chose from. The food was perfect in everyway, wonderful flavor, good portions and very friendly owners. I recommend this place.I only wish they opened a little earlier for dinner instead of 5:00 p,m,

I love this place!. I love Modesto Sukiyaki for the great Japanese food. I have been to Japan and know what things should taste like. Every Japanese restaurant I have been to has been disappointing, except this one. My family and I have been there many times, and now, they know us by name and that really shows me they care. They even give us a free appetizer sometimes! I think this place is real special. It’s small and cozy and a Japanese family makes the food. It’s as authentic as it gets in Modesto.
