China Garden Review. If New Royal China was renamed China Garden, then the other review on this site is absolutely wrong! China Garden has excellent service, great food, and reasonable prices. We’ve been there twice, and each time, the service was very attentive, we got free sodas, the portions were huge, and the food was served piping hot and was delicious! Both the dinner for two and the lunch special were large enough servings to provide us with the next evening’s dinner. We love he ambience – quiet, clean and nicely decorated. This is definitely our favorite place to go for Chinese food in Modesto!
This may be the worst Chinese restaurant in the history of restaurants, China, or mankind. Not only was the service lousy, but the wait was outlandish (we were the only people there), and the food was mediocre at best. It is entirely possible that this restaurant is part of a psychological survey to see how much abuse you are willing to endure. Order at your own peril!
