We were looking for a fancier place to eat in Modesto and found Redwood Cafe. It definitely hit the spot. We sat outdoors and they lit up a propane fire to keep us warm. My wife started with a Spinach Salad and enjoyed it. I started with a Pickled Beet Salad and also enjoyed mine. Everything was very fresh. For a main dish my wife had Mary’s Chicken and loved it. I tried the Pork Schnitzel and also loved mine. For dessert my wife had Tiramisu and I had Flourless Cake, both also excellent. Our waiter was great, friendly and attentive. We would easily go again.
