Buffalo is one among the sea of restaurants on Castro Street. Given that, it doesn’t particularly stand out as such. But it’s not like there’s anything particularly wrong either.One item I would recommend is any one of their Wagyu burgers. The meat was excellent and it was topped with the right amount of everything else. There was no overpowering flavor, just the meat.Besides this we tried the chicken wings trio. It wasn’t stand-out material, but it wasn’t bad either. We also tried a few of their Baos. They were also quite good.The semi-self service isn’t something I particularly like; it’s like a neither-here-neither-there arrangement. It’s especially difficult in a diner-type of restaurant with outside seating, which meant we had to go into the restaurant to order each time. That’s the only major downside to this place.
