This is the place to try veggie chicken and at reasonable prices. Restaurant follows similar concept as ‘native foods’ create non vegetarian dishes using soy. My friend took to to this place for lunch today, more a hole in the wall kind of place on el Camino real. We tried spicy Kung pao chicken, spicy Mongolian chicken and fried eggplant. Food was fine and it was a different experience. Agree that we can not have this food on a regular basis but, it’s a different food mind set here!

Best veg in the Bay Area!. I love this place, and the owners (Alice and Robert). The food is fresh, non-greasy, healthy, complete and satisfying. I go once a month, and have brought all my friends (veg and non-veg) here. Don’t forget to check out the new Garden Fresh, opening March 29, 2010 at 460 Ramona St Palo Alto!
This place uses soy (tofu) to simulate meat. It’s pretty amazing what they can do with taste, texture, appearance.
Love it! Especially the half chicken! Mmmmmmmm…
