This coffee shop is a perfect place if you’re looking for a warm atmosphere suitable for chatting with friends or working on homework/work assignments. There’s a downstairs with bar seating (and outside seating) with a few couches in the entryway. There’s also an upstairs which has more seating but in itself is still small. If you’re looking to do work on your laptop go upstairs but try to grab a seat along one of the walls because you’ll have easy access to an electrical plug. The vibe is very much similar to one that you’d find at Starbucks except with dark red walls and local art decorating the walls.I ordered their ice coffee and it was delicious! They also offer other small bakery goods but they don’t look fantastic. I would say go for the coffee and (maybe) grab a small snack then head on upstairs to do some work.
Lemon Cheesecake. Lemon cheesecake with biscotti crust is just the right size and goes well with espresso macchiato.
The Best Thing in Mountain View. Between the amazing coffees, the free wi-fi, and the legendary Monday open mic that has been going on for over a decade, Red Rock is by far my favorite place in Mountain View.Often filled with over-caffeinated techies, this place is always buzzing with energy.
Excellent place to stop for espresso. They pour a very good cup of both espresso and coffee here. It has become a regular part of my morning routine when in Mt. View.
Just alright. Had an iced coffee that needed a lot more ice. The coffee had a strange taste. Nice outdoor seating in the shade, on a hot day. Very friendly service.
Stick to espresso drinks because their coffee always tastes burnt.
Free internet. Like many people, we like to bring our laptops and grab drinks, then jump upstairs and study/molest the free internet access. The only thing we don’t like about this place is the awful music they pipe onto the second floor. Are they trying to get us to leave? It’s awful. Otherwise, the drinks are good, nice locaton, and you can’t beat the free internet.
