Clean and cheery, Don Giovani is what you would expect from a neighborhood Italian restaurant. The service is friendly, the menu traditional with a wide range of dishes from across Italy. On my night here, I enjoyed the redfish special with rice and vegetables. It was cooked perfectly. The mussels seemed a bit dated, but still edible. A decent place for a decent price on Castro Street, worthy of a date night. Just not a first date.
