What a great place! Absolutely beautiful. Loved the food loved the service. There was also this extremely lovely lady who went from table to table talking to everyone and making them feel at home. This place takes customer service to another level. You can ask for the separate vegetarian menu if you need one. We tried a vegetarian mushroom ravioli and a gnocchi in pesto sauce. They came in generous portions and were super tasty. Would love to visit again!
A little pricy for what it is, and what it is is decent but uninspiring Italian food. Creamy pesto gnocchi, fettuccine alfredo, and calamari were perfectly decent. Caesar salad was mediocre. Nothing to write home about.
One word for the food – Delizioso. A plateful of pasta and glassful of wine at this palce and your day is made. The ambience is quite jovial and the place is usually buzzing with activity, in line with any customer’s Italian expectations. The staff is very warm and cheerful.Love the place, love the food. I would rate it average only in terms of value for money.
Fabulous.. I ordered take out, and it is exceptional. makes me want to visit Porto Azzurro, and the quality reminds me of New York City.
I don’t remember what I had the first time. Yesterday I noticed that they only have a wine list on print. They may offer other alcoholic beverages, but they were not listed on any menu. Yesterday I had the POLLO ALLA PIOMENTESE. Oh my gosh. It was to die for. Everyone around me wanted to try a piece of mine, it was delicious. We are going to try and replicate it at home, since it is almost a $20 dish, but it is DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend this dish.
Enchanting Experience. I just visited Vaso Azzurro for the first time. My fiance and I came in off the street, after reading the menu. First of all, I loved the decor. It was really charming. Second, the service was fantastic. All of the staff was smiling and everyone who came by helped us with something, not just the waiter from whom we ordered our food. Third, and most important, the food was melt in your mouth delicious. After we ordered, focaccia and herbed olive oil arrived promptly. The bread was fluffy and flavorful; some of the best focaccia I’ve ever had. The olive oil was so delicious that I just couldn’t stop dipping. For starters, I had the special soup, tarragon tomato with feta, and my fiance had the Avocadro salad. We both really enjoyed our starters, but the entrees were well worth waiting for. I had the penne con pollo. The sauce had a very nice flavor, but what was really amazing was the texture and flavor of the chicken. It practically glided into my mouth and down my throat. So many times chicken served in pasta dishes lacks any inner flavor, so it was a really nice surprise. My fiance’s spinich gnocchi were melt in our mouths delicious. It was too rich to finish it all, but we took the few gnocchi that were left home with us, since we couldn’t bear to not enjoy every last one.
