Not Going Back!. This is my second bad experience at Cook. Bad service. I had to ask for water, ask for bread, and after about 30 minutes ask who my server was. I waited over one hour for the risotto special. The two scallops were seared on outside and uncooked on inside. Horrible. They were served with a few tablespoons of risotto. Left hungry and disappointed.Quoted $22 for special. Charged $23. Insignificant amount, but consistent with the mismangement and bad service. They need more skilled cooks on the line. Two bad lunch experiences with undercooked seafood in two months. Not going back.
All around wonderful. Walked in at 9:30 on a Tuesday evening and was greeted by a wonderfully polite lady. We sat at the bar and began what can only be described as an exceptional dining experience. I had the Caprese Salad followed by Fazzoletti Bolognese, my wife enjoyed the special fried mozzarella appetizer followed by the special risotto, which was Teleme cheese with sweet corn and chive, finished with a moonfish filet topped with a micro green and heirloom tomato salad. It was amazing. We enjoyed a bottle of Araujo Altagracia Syrah with our meal. If you’ve got the chance dine at Cook, you won’t be disappointed. Jessica was our server, she was also wonderful.
Great food, service and ambience. Acoustics not good, difficult to hear my table partner. Expensive as well. 1 cocktail, small salad, entree, glass of wine and tip cost $70. Worth the experience.
Perfect Pasta. Easy dinner, fast service and just the right atmosphere after a long day tasting in the valley. Glad to recomend to others.
Cozy place, tasty food, good atmosphere. Only gripe is small portion size.
Home Cookin. Eaten here 30 times and have never been disappointed! Trust the locals-Cook delivers the goods. Now that Chef/Owner Jude has introduced a full bar there is no chink in the armor…Cocktails are classic and well crafted, wine list features stellar old and new world selections by the glass and bottle, at modest mark-ups. The staff is also very well versed in assisting with selections. Be careful what you say, you may be sitting next to the winemaker of what’s in your glass! Starters are simple and cleanly presented with pure flavors-Mussels will make your soul smile. Pasta dishes are outta sight-The new Fazzoletti dish is life-changing..Shortrib is like buttah! The room feels so smart and cozy you will definitely stay for dessert.Ice cream Mundae, Choc cake and the Panna Cotta are all delicious. Enjoy-
