Great Napa Valley Favorite. A long time high-quality favorite! Very enjoyable dining experience in beautiful building surrounded by vineyards. Indoor or terrace seating. Ample portions of excellently prepared Italian food, especially delicious homemade pastas and sauces served by attentive staff. Great wine list of carefully selected Napa Valley and international bottles and glasses, and specialty cocktails. Easy to find just off State Route 29 north of Napa. Very popular, reservations suggested especially for larger parties. If no tables available, try Bar seating served by convivial bar staff.

Vegan friendly?. If you want to eat a salad with no protein then this is the place for you! Why are they listed in vegan friendly? The other food smelled and looked really good. Atmosphere was great, seems everyone was having a good time. Unfortunately, by the time I got home I was starving.

Tuscany In the Bay. It’s a lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Patio seating is nice, there’s a nice view of the vineyard and the fountain outside. Overall, it’s nicely decorated. The inside is nice as well. Staff was attentive and helpful. The food was good which added to the whole experience. I tried the fig pizza which was nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. The fig was sweet and the arugula, the carmalized onions and cheese blended together was delectable. The portion size was just right. You can share the pizza with another person, but you can easily eat most of it yourself because the the pizza is cut into smaller squares. The risotto ai funghi is good. They change the menu according to what’s available that day it seems. I noticed online, they had shrimp in the risotto instead of sausage. It can get really busy on the weekends especially during dinner time, so it’s best that you call for a reservation. However, there’s plenty of seating for both inside and outside, so even if you didn’t make a reservation during the weekends, you don’t have to wait very long. While we were eating, we saw larger groups come in and they seemed to have been seated right away and they made no reservations. The fountain area is for cocktail. They have tables and chairs set up and it’s nice. We initially asked to be seated there since it was nice day, but we were told that it was for cocktail area/lounging. Lots of people take pictures after their meal. It’s quite picturesque especially having an actual vineyard as the backdrop. You can even walk up and take pictures by the grapes if you’d like. lol. We’ve seen other people do it while we ate, so it adds to the experience especially if you can’t get that close to the vineyards when you go wine tasting. The restaurant is conveniently located by a nearby winery. Definitely stop by and grab a bite to eat here after visiting one of the wineries nearby. The food isn’t overpriced, for the quality and the presentation, it’s worth it. Just by observing the food that comes to other tables made us want to come back again. Buon appetito!

Start with frito mistro & pasta is what you come here to eat. Service excellent. Bread was just ok. Triamisu is nothing special but other deserts are great.

Try their fried olives with a Ketel One up! We also enjoyed the Pear Pizza and Fusilli! Wow! Service is always great and friendly.

The Tiramisu was PERFECT! I would order this again. Almost ate the whole thing before I remembered to take a picture.22 Aug, 2011Celebrated my early birthday yesterday at BDG and have mixed reviews. I ordered the Duck Confit and it was Excellent! We had a party of 6 and ordered pasta, salad, minestrone soup, lamb & pizza. With the exception of the pizza which was for a child came accompanied with fries TOWERED in the center of the pizza which was NOT a big hit with my son. They can also benefit from brushing the brick pizza oven so the pizza would not suffer such a burnt taste. My service was good, NOT great based on the total of our meal, expected more. The ambiance was nice, tastefully decorated. Ladies beware if you think of waiting for a mad dash to the restroom you might want to prepare or pick a number, there’s only a 1 room bathroom and boy did I have to wait…& wait. Therefore, I’m up in the air if I ever return.
