Napa is a small cozy town, with loads of dining options. After a lot of research & reading, we decided on Celadon – and it was indeed a great choice. Made a reservation, but arrived slightly early. So got seated at the bar for a drinks and nibbles. Ordered a few cocktails – and the bartender was pretty much generous with his alcohol quantity 😉 of course, is a good thing. Ordered the Calamari & Mussels for small plates. Both were so fresh and so tasty. The calamari sauce was a little on the sweeter side, but the pickled ginger complemented it so well. The mussels were nice too, someone a couple of the mussels seemed uncooked & strange – so just left that aside on the plate. By this time we were moved to our dinner table outside. Ordered the Pasta of the Day – which was a pulled beef pasta with mushroom and the the beef jus. Not typically Italian – but DELICIOUS! EXTRAORDINARY! OUTSTANDING!! I could go on about this dish. The meat was so tender, it fell apart with just the touch of the fork, and melted in your mouth. Even a person who dislikes pasta, would love this dish.Service was great again. No complains about that.
