Best gelato in the US. Molto bene! Absolutely delicious flavors and texture. This was the best gelato I’ve ever had. I was visiting from out of town and made sure to visit this cafe each day. My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun trying all the different flavors and talking with the staff, and it was great to hear about the owner’s training in Italy.
Little piece of Perugia on Napa Riverfront. Few years ago, signori Antonio e Ron, closed shop in Fullerton and moved up North to open Frati Gelato Cafe on Napa Riverfront. I feel sorry for the Fullerton folks but their loss is our win.Besides excellent gelato with many flavors to offer – all made on premises by the gelato master Antonio LuPriore from first class, personally approved ingredients – Frati Gelato offers daily specials and nice selection of fresh panini (with small side green/bean salad). Same care and choice ingredients go into the paninis and the daily specials are like made by your italian mother if you lucked out and grew up in italian household, let’s say in Brooklyn.In the evenings Frati now holds bruschetta nights as dinner service. Great bread and inventive toppings. Let chef Antonio take you on culinary tour through Italian countryside and allow him to select the sequence and toppings. Have a sparkling wine with your bruschette and finish with habit forming gelato affogato.

Classy Italian Cafe !!!!!!. Frati Cafe wins hands down on all aspects of a cafe !!!! The food and gelato are of the highest quality, the service is to be applauded … and the authenticity of the food as well as the atmosphere and decor … is superb.Be sure to try the food, the gelato, and the super wine selection … you will feel a little bit of Italy right in Napa … and will leave with a smile !
