Try breakfast!!. It seemed that everytime we passed Gotts in St. Helena, it had a rope of a line…soooooo, we decided to try Gott’s for breakfast. I had the Chicken Tacos…to die for!!! This roadside eatery has a tremendous following, so I assume their burgers are terrific too. There are two other locations I believe. Good stuff!
YUM!. Just when I thought my favorite Ca burger joint was In N Out….. Gotts is amazing! Good size portions, hot, fresh, tasty! Delicious lemonade too! The place gets busy so you need a bit of patience…. Great menu offerings, fair prices……something for everyone even the most picky diner…. Can’t wait to eat there again!
Omg burgers!. The best burger and chicken sandwiches ever. Cool place to have a quick bite outside the oxbow market. Try the burger, sweet potato fries with there special sauce…you will need a nap!
$32 for 2 burgers and fries. Wife got a cheese burger and sweet potato fries. I got a green chile cheese burger and garlic fries. Tasty messy bring a drop cloth and $$$
I wouldn’t eat here again. We stopped here because it looked like a fun burger joint, but it was actually an outrageously overpriced venue with a cute exterior. Prices were high, portions were stingy, and we had to stand at the counter for soda refills. I ordered the smoked tri-tip sandwich, and it tasted like straight liquid smoke, with no remaining beef flavor at all. I had to put catsup on it to make it edible, an I usually really enjoy tri-tip. My family enjoyed their burgers, but agreed that they were over priced and under sized.04 Jul, 2012Gott’s Roadside looks like a fun burger joint, but it is actually a REALLY overpriced burger joint. The prices were high, the portions were stingy, and we had to stand at the counter to get our sodas refilled. I tried the special, which was a smoked tri-tip sandwich, and it tasted like liquid smoke straight from the bottle – with no tri tip flavor at all. I had to put catsup on it to make it edible, and I usually enjoy tri-tip. The other members of my family enjoyed their burgers, but agreed that they were overpriced. I will not eat here again.
Garlic Fries…. I agree with one of the reviews below–that Gott’s is overrated. Their veggie burger tasted like one of those veggie patties you can buy from your local frozen food section. The bun was something else and their garlic fries didn’t live up to the hype. The garlic fries tasted bland to me, even if you dipped it in ketchup or ranch, it was just ok. Perhaps, fries aren’t my thing, but I definitely had better. As far as service, it was average. The wait is long, but fear not, they offer a variety of wine and beer so you can sip and wait for you order. It is after all Napa, where else can you have a glass of wine and dine at a fast food restaurant?
Not that good. Everything was so-so, including the staff, food, drinks, atmosphere and value. Not my kind of place I guess.
