Very delightful restraraunt. The cocktails and wines are available to read from their iPad and what’s interesting is that the menu changes daily with their seasonal fresh vegetables and meats. It is slightly more vegetarian oriented. They don’t have too many options for their meals with meats, so if you are a meat lover like myself then be aware or open minded to this. alexcarneiro.com
All of the food was quite tasty. My wife’s rabbit was perfectly cooked, and my lamb’s heart ragu had a rich flavor. The pacing was a little off, and the room was noisy, but all in all a very good experience.
Had dinner there tonight, they state how the menu changes regularly but instead they should probably get it right. My wife started with arugula salad and she enjoyed it while I had a twist on a Caesar salad but made with shaved Brussels sprouts it was good until I hit the section that had been salted to heavily. First bite I assumed I had missed the anchovy but watching for it the next couple were just too salty. That would be fine but we both got pasta dishes next, hers had red pepper flakes which were not mentioned on the menu and she is sensitive too spicy so she avoids, I ordered the bucatini alla carbonara, carbonara always has pepper but not enough that it overpaowers all else and I do not need my pasta swimming in sauce, especially when it’s as rich as carbonara. Not a fan.
Repeat Customer. We keep going back to Oenotri because we have never had anything but great service and delicious food.
Oenotri is an excellent Italian restaurant in the town of Napa. The house-made pastas and salumi are wonderful. The pork chop was excellent as was the pizza. The wine list is superb especially with excellent Italian selections. Ambiance was modern but casual. Outdoor seating was also available.
I have never been as insulted as I was by the staff at this restaurant!!!!! The food quality is by no means worth the service!! Please do not waste your time or money!!!
