3 Stars – Just finished a meal at the Red Hen. It’s a popular dining spot at Napa’s north side. The patio was chock full of locals eating dinner when I stopped by tonight. The complimentary chips and salsa were fair. My margarita was well leaded leading to my current state of intoxication. I quizzed my server for the best thing on the menu, he said that I should gave the carve asada burrito with green sauce and garlic. I took his recommendation. It was very good. Not a world class Mexican joint, but if I wanted a Mexican restaurant on this side of town again, then I’d come back. Napagirl’s review pretty much said the same thing without being so wordy, which I have a tendency to do. 🙂
