Mediterranean trio as an appetizer was delicious; not too heavy and not too light. As a main course the meatballs were phenomenal and the ribeye was even better but a bit expensive. Would definitely visit again. Love this place!
Visited Tarla last week with my family during our visit to Napa Valley.Tarla was recommended us by many people.I am so happy that we listened and came to Tarla. We started with Saganaki cheese, it is a must try.Lamb Kebab and vegetables came wiyh it was Delightful. If you are in Napa. You must visit here.

I’ve driven past this place so many times, and always wanted to try it. I finally had the chance, and it was worth the wait. The ambiance was relaxed, but nice. The staff was very pleasant and cordial, and the food was delicious. The menu offers traditional Mediterranean cuisine with some unique additions. I’ve never had Baba Ganoush that’s blended until smooth and creamy before. It was a pleasant departure from the standard. We also had the chicken kabob wrap, which was good, and the salmon sandwich and Shrimp with rice which was great. To top things off, the prices were quite fair for the location and quality. We’re already planning our next visit.
I really loved having dinner here. We made much needed reservations and were seated promptly at 830. I order a 2008 Cabernet and it was worth every penny. We also ordered saganaki which had flavors of honey and apricot. I loved it. The bread was kind of blackened but it actually didn’t bother me and seemed to add flavor and break some of the sweetness. I am not sure if that was intended but it worked for me. The Greek salad was perfect. Veggies that the restaurant claims to grow on some average in Napa, we crisp fresh and ripe. The dressing was very traditional Greek and delicious. I order the scallops with prawns and I loved the dish. As a fish entree, I expected it to be light, however it was quite heavy. I’m very happy with my selection. My husband ordered the loin of lamb and spiced barley and I definitely preferred his over mine? The lamb was perfectly spiced and cooked and the barley had hints of clove in it!!!!! That was so exciting for me because I never thought to spice a savory dish with cloves. cloves are usually reserved for deserts. His entree was a 10/10.
Tarla apparently means ‘from the earth’. Thinking back on our meals, that seems mostly appropriate. Tarla has a local garden and winery where they source many of their ingredients and that helps explain just how fresh everything tasted. The ambiance was pleasant and the service, although novice, was very helpful and accommodating. Terrah Koppie Gavrilos ‘s 2009 cab was wonderfully smooth, many of the tannins morphed into sediment and with them, gone was a good amount of the sharpness you find in a younger wine. My 2013 Macedonian Macedon was unfortunately lacking of body and flavor, even with a slurp. The salad was fresh and balanced. The saganaki had a wonderful and unique honey flavor that went well with the apricots. My lamb was exquisite and perfectly cooked. Great entre. Terrah’s prawns (really, small shrimp) and scallops were also very good – great sauce. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would certainly come again!!
Great find!. Came on a busy Saturday night and sat at the bar. Bar staff was great and very friendly, food was excellent. It was healthy, flavorful and well presented. I would come back to it again and again.
