Very nice selection on the buffet and everything I tried was fantastic. However, after noticing how cold my butter chicken was, I looked down to see if the burners were on for their chaffing dishes and more than half had went gone out. The butter chicken was nearly ice cold. After I mentioned it to staff, I checked later to see the same thing. This is a real health scare. Food in buffets has to be piping hot. Very tasty but nervous eating it.
Yum. We went here for the buffet for my birthday over a year ago. Delicious! I think I tried every single thing they had. Wish I’d gotten more naan (I maybe could have asked, and didn’t), but every thing we had was wonderful.
Food was delicious. Good service. Would eat there again upon my next visit to Monterey.
Great place to go during lunch. Butter chicken is delicious!
Real quality Indian food! The naan was spot-on and my almond cashew chicken was delicately flavored and hearty at the same time. Price was a bit high for the entree size, but worth it. Samosas were good, if a tad bland. Husbands chana masala was very good, with chickpeas that were perfectly cooked (under-done garbanzo beans are a common complaint of his at other Indian eateries…)
Best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to! Love the Chicken Tikka!
Buffet tastes like leftovers. There was a large selection of items on the buffet, including a good number of vegetarian dishes. However, the chicken curry looked like it had been made of the bones after most of the meat had been cut from them. The butter chicken had a good flavor, but again, the meat was leftover tandoori chicken. The naan was served in a basket at the table so it cooled too quickly and got hard. I will not be eating here again.
