We ate here on July 4. One of the only restaurants open. We were so lucky to find it! My in-laws had never had Indian food, and they loved it. Our favorite restaurant of a one-week California vacation. In-laws had Tandoori chicken, we had a vegetarian masala, and a lentil and coconut milk soup.
Location at Monterey Bay at Alvarado Street and a nice ambience are the only things worth mentioning… What it lacks is the quality of food. Anyone hailing from Bay Area would find the menu to short of options and lacking that zing…It is also very expensive… well all in all I would rather prefer driving 70 miles to go to San Jose instead of settling for some second grade quality and taste and that too at a considerable pocket pinch … Not sure if I am going back again !
