Suitable ambiance with a nice view of the harbor. Nice waiter. The fish and chips (both pieces) struggled to extend longer than my index finger. Spumoni offered for dessert. Middling value.
The least annoying of all the outside restaurant luring agents was the man/owner in front of Domineco’s. He was actually very pleasant but still unusual set up. But the young woman in front of Cafe Fina was the lowest keyed person – just smiled at the passerby’s.I can honestly say that this was the most phenomenal Italian restaurant experience thus far for us. This place has also been visited by Joe Dimaggio, Brooke Shields, Paul Newman, & Bill Murray (there were many others but those are all that I can remember).SERVICE – 5 Stars, ON SITE OWNER – 5 Stars, FOOD – 5 Stars. Thank you Maizy, thank you Roxanne, thank you servers & cooks, & thank you Domenic! We will definitely return as well as recommend!!
The Gluten Free Pizza – It’s Awesome. Surprisingly tasty for a gluten free dish.
Excellent service. The food is ok, but not worth the cost.
A wonderful experience! The staff obviously enjoys their work. Food was excellent! I had a calamari and shrimp special and my wife had the local salmon. We had the cherrie cobbler made with fresh cherries from the owner’s tree. It was amazing!
I highly recommend it to everyone. Also try to reserve a table upstairs by the window so you can enjoy the view of the marina. The people who don’t like it can go and jump in the Monterey bay!!!!
Fisherman’s Wharf Treasure!. Beautiful decor, intimate, romantic dining pleasure on Fisherman’s Wharf. Dominic Mercurio will probably greet you warmly at the door and charm your socks off. He is a well known Monterey character. Of course, the food is fabulous! Italian fisherman’s stew is our favorite.Try it! You will love it!
