We are on a road trip through California and being foodies that we are, we have been looking for good food everywhere we go. After spending fortunes eating in cannery row and getting hugely disappointed we decided to have dinner at this place as it was right next to our hotel. We had chicken wings lemon grass flavour (they had multiple flavour options), yellow chicken curry, grilled chicken noodles and lychee snow bubble and everything was so yummy. The wings were hot and had a nice mild lemon grass flavour, the yellow curry had nice spicy flavour. The qualities were pretty good and we had lots of left overs for next day . The snow Bubble was one of the best bubble tea I have ever had and all this cost us just 24$. This restaurant proves that good food doesn’t have to be expensive. My wife and I tried Chopstix as our intro to Vietnamese while we were on vacation. Everything smelled great when we went in and quickly found ourselves looking for a place near our home in Florida to continue enjoying Vietnamese dining.
Business Owner. Food was very good and price was low enough for me to continue to come back and recommend to all my friends. Not much on atmosphere. I think they can utilize the space better to accommodate more people somehow. I think the kids that work there need to concentrate on the service delivery to the customers. They seem to be enjoying talking to each other more than to pay attention to the clients. May need to utilize the outdoors by putting tables and heaters!
Food is inconsistent unlike the seaside location. The service is poor. Female server never smiled and looked like she didn’t want to be there. We finished our meals and our drinks finally came. The drinks on the other hand were tasty. A recommendation to the owner: get some heated lamps to be able to use the outdoor space.
Healthy Vietnamese Cuisine!. Wonderful flavor combinations with mint, peanuts, peppers and bean sprouts highlighting many of the dishes. The portions are perfect size: not overwhelming large or tiny. The prices are very inexpensive; most are less than a fast food chain meal deal. We feel good after enjoying a nice meal here. Treat yourself to a new adventure!
