Initially disappointed by the salsa, the food is really good. Got a chicken burrito and the chicken is fantastic. The waiters are friendly as well. I don’t know why this place is empty on Monday night. Nice fireplace outside. If it wasn’t so windy if eat out there.
Nice Place! Good Food and Good Service!. Enjoyed a wonderful meal with excellent friendly attentive service here, Wednesday night. January business is a little quiet everywhere, which is fine with me. I do not like the crowds, lines, waiting, noise…etcetera. Thank you for a very enjoyable dinner.
Our group of 5 visitors to Monterey had our first dinner at El Palomar. All entrees were delicious and the prices were reasonable. We came back 2 days later and were not disappointed! The service was excellent! We highly recommend this restaurant for excellent Mexican cuisine!
My husband calls it el palosuck- I don’t reccommend the mole enchiladas!! Tasted like tomato sauce!
The service was good, without being pushy. The combination platter was too much to finish, but tasted wonderful. The atmoshpere was very charming and colorful.
Elvia Torres. The Chili Rellenos are my favorites.Fajitas are also excellent. And they have the best bartenders..who know how to serve a great drink and tell a good story. Authentic Mexican foods with great service. I live in Alaska and recommend it to all the tourist who come to Sitka. Rudy and Kathy have had this business for over 10 years so they must be doing something right. Vaya con Dios
