We drove along the coast from San Francisco to Monterey. When we reached Monterey it was dinner time and I noticed El Torito at one end of Cannery Row. I had been to a couple of their locations over the years and had liked them, and since SWMBO had not been to any, we decided to give this one a try. SWMBO chose Chicken & Sour Cream Enchiladas. The dish was smothered in a savory sour cream sauce, topped with jack cheese. Overall she liked the dish, but wasn’t a big fan of the beans on the side. I went for the Tacos Jalisco with chicken (3 tacos basted with chile adobo and lightly browned, topped with manchego cheese. My taste buds were happy.
Un lugar con una vista hermosa. Comimos una comida para cuatro que consista en una bandeja con carne de cerdo, carne de vacuno, pollo y camarones, tambin cebolla dorada y pimentn verde y rojo. Como acompaamiento una fuentecita de guacamole, otra de arroz, otra con porotos negros y una de maz. Las porciones no eran muy grandes, pero suficientes. Se poda pedir repeticin de los acompaamientos. La carne de vacuno regular, lo dems bien. La atencin muy buena

We tried frozen strawberry margaritas and regular margaritas on the rocks. Both were good and fairly priced. The view of the water is spectacular.
