Ate here last night for convenience’s sake as it was located next to the Spindrift Inn. The views were great, but the food and service were subpar. The wedge salad with bacon, tomato and egg was substantial in size. The blue cheese dressing was runny. The fish tacos were decent but we were expecting a crispy fish. The black beans did not disappoint. justeatitup.com
A friend and I stopped for lunch on a weekday after visiting The Monterey Bay Aquarium. The Calamari appetizer and a cup of clam chowder was excellent. We were promptly seated with a view of Monterey Bay. I will return and try another meal very soon.
The seafood stew and jambalaya were both kinda bland. The halibut was pretty tasty. I think it’s a bit of a touristy place with mediocre food but great views.
