Stopped for lunch with friends here on a quiet Saturday. Its a tiny cafe which serves middle eastern food. I had their specialty dish, chicken with garlic sauce and it was awesome! Their garlic paste can simply make anything better. If someone is sharing without ordering anything, they charge 3$ per sharing plate. Their lemonade also was really good.
I went there in a Summer afternoon expecting this place to be reminiscent of NY’s famous middle eastern cuisine places like Mamoun’s … or something in that line. The reception was great.. they offer baklavas which is complimentary .. and the small restaurant where only 7/8 people can sit would make you feel welcome. But I found that the portion of food was very less considering the price. I feel Dementra’s which recently opened at Del Monte Mall is a better alternative… Paprika has to seriously raise it’s level in order to compete with them.
