Best donuts ever!!!. Was in town visiting some friends and had a craving for donuts. This was the only place they would take me, telling me the donuts were delicious. He was not wrong one bit. Walked in and could tell immediately that the donuts were going to be great. The display case had a few types, that all looked good. Keep the menu simple and just perfect what you have seems to be their mantra. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The taste was just perfect. Just airy and doughy. The glaze was just right and the frosting was exquisite. The prices were better than my local chain doughnut shop. Will definitely come back next time I visit.

Oldest shop on the block… and it shows it. I sat next to a crazy old lady for a while… just added to the atmosphere. Coffee is alright. Donuts are incredible!!
A donut lover’s dream!
Small Place, Big on Character!. The oldest kid on the block, this establishment has been serving up donuts and more for over 50 years in downtown Monterey. I like the Red Skeleton clown pictures on the wall. A childhood favorite show. Usually, all the counter seats are occupied and hardy conversations are in progress. The food is down home good with very reasonable prices. Fun experience!
They do donuts, and they do them right. No frills or gimmicks here! Get a dozen to go, or sit and nosh at a counter seat and have a chat with the friendly staff. Either way, the donuts are delish, the prices are just right.
