Sat there for 7-8 minutes without a menu or anyone coming over, finally asked for a server and then we sat for another 20 minutes. Finally walked out without eating. Prices too high, Staff too oblivious. Nice ambience though.
The food sounded wonderful. The description of the food in the menu sounded wonderful. However, the food itself was rather bland. We were disappointed. The hostess was a bit cold when we arrived but our server was a delight.
Great view and great burgers.
Stay Away. AWFUL food…The shrimp cocktail came with 4 mediocre shrimp which had a terrible texture (re:mushy), the shrimp louis salad dressing was intentionally made to taste burnt. The only moderately decent item was the clam chowder which lets be realistic, can be bought anywhere in Monterey. Will never go back.
Great place!. We celebrated my birthday here last year, the food was very good, I loved the fresh anchovie on my Caesar salad. The fondue for dessert was delish, rich chocolate for dipping and fresh fruit and Madeline cookies. The views are awesome of Monterey Bay, also! 🙂
We were guests of the hotel and ate here with no idea what to expect. I had the osters and the saffron cippiono. The ambiance and the food were great but the service was lacking.
The C Restaurant is a place where I remember the food being good, but I keep forgetting how TERRIBLE the service is! We’ve gone 3 or4 times in the past couple of years, and this is the LAST. Our presence here only warranted minimal attention, and for the third time dining here, I’ve had to find our waitstaff to get/pay our bill. Never again.
