The only thing I really enjoyed was how they made the meat perfectly. Other than that everything else was plain. Their salsa wasn’t even spicy/tasteful. Also really expensive for how bland the food was. The tacos are hardshell with just meat, cheese and shredded iceberg lettuce, nothing special.
Ticos Tacos is located on Cannery Row at the beautiful Monterey bay.We were exploring the pacific coast and our first stop was at the beautiful Monterey bay and it was almost lunch time.So we decided to have lunch there.The speciality there is seafood,but we being vegetarians,couldn’t go for it.So we decided on Mexican food.The place has a very Mexican and Spanish vibe.Ticos Tacos is a Mexican restaurant.It is a frills free place,you have to do self service.They have great options for food and limited but decent options for drinks.Myself and hubby ordered wine and beer respectively and the kids had Fanta.We had nachos with salsa and variety of sauce.The nachos were fresh and hot.The salsa and sauces were tasty and spicy.We also had veg Burritos and veggie soft tacos with Mexican rice. It was decent,not bad.I especially loved the Mexican rice.The place is clean and neat,the staff helpful and the pricing very decent.But we felt something was lacking. megsblogged.com
