The food is yummy, but the wait is long. And seriously…no ice.
Wish I liked it. I always like supporting local and organic restaurants, and I really wanted to like this place, but $7 for a muffin and coffee? Yikes! The bakery items weren’t labeled and the man behind the counter seemed surprised that when I asked what they were. There was also a very grouchy looking woman behind the counter, not at all friendly. They took my money and slammed the cash register shut without giving me my change. I had to ask for it, and they didn’t offer a receipt either. Probably won’t go back.
Excellent quality. I stopped in for breakfast with my wife and was very happy I did. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The place was full and I was glad we could get a seat. They are all about organic. Everything was fresh made and the staff was very attentive. I would be a regular if I lived in the area. If your spending time in Monterey this is a nice place away from the touristy part of town. Whoever is cooking back there definitely cares about what they are presenting to you.
Horrible service. Food is good. But the service is horrible they are a bunch of hippies who are the servers( nothing against hippies) but they are just too layed back to care enough to take your order or bring your food. Every time I go there I regret it!
The wait was fifteen minutes and the servers didn’t seem to make any effort to speed up service. They were rude when we ordered as well. The service was so poor we left.
Very long wait, average to good food. Group of eight. Worst service I’ve ever had. Forgot two orders, had to ask for coffee, butter, jelly, cream everything. To add insult they added 20% tip to bill.
