Eating In Darkness. Went her for dinner last night. Was taken to a small table in the restaurant. There were no lights above the table and only a tiny glass candle on the table for light. It was so dark, it was impossible to read the menu. When I notified the server about the darkness (come on, like they didn’t know), the server said she could get me a flashlight. Are you kidding? Who wants to sit at a table that is so dark, you have to use a flashlight to see the menu? They were indifferent to my complaint about the darkness and let me walk out without trying to seat me at a different table. Will never return

It’s an irish pub in orange county, so my hopes were not high, but its not too bad if you are looking for a quick beer and bite to eat before headed to the movie theater. i had the corned beef sandwich and it was ok. lacking flavor, but the corned beef was extraordinarily lean and sliced very thinly. fries are home made and are pretty good. prices are somewhat reasonable, except for the appetizers. overall not too bad.
Best Pint of Guiness in Orange County. They pour the best pint of Guiness in Orange County and possibly Southern California. Snug little Pub and Restaurant, good traditional Irish/English fare, but a price! This is Newport Beach and across from the Newport Center Mall…so do not be surprised when you get your Check.
Perfection. A gem of an eating place. The food is made fresh daily even the baked good. Has one of the best hamburgers in Orange County among the best Irish food in all of SoCal. The owners and staff are warm, wonderful & highly skilled at what they do. The location has indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is a unique visit to Ireland without the plane ticket. Suprise yourself with their chocolate sundies…ymmmm.
