Not bad for Missouri style BBQ really. This style isn't something we get or people are used to out here in the west. Not large portions but reasonable…

Over rated. The food was nasty, over priced for the mount of food. And as usual the red neck attitude at the counter…

Ok for west coast q. Not really missouri style, but the chicken was darn juicy and i like the sweet sauce. the hickory sauce made me a little sick to my stomach. colewslaw wasn’t the best i’ve ever had. staff was super friendly and the place had a cute country decor vibe.
I only ate there once and the meat on my beef ribs was too dry and the BBQ sauce was obscenely sweet! The saw dust on the floor is quaint and appealing but the food is not worth a trip.
A family favorite. I have come to this place since I can remember. We used to frequent the Canoga Park location until it closed down. I now live in Sacramento and still crave the barbequed baked beans and their sandwiches. You gotta get the Bear Pit Special or my favorite the Kodiak in order to really appreciate. And order your sandwich on the garlic bread instead of the roll. I order a double order of the beans and dip my sandwich in them with ever bite. Don’t forget to try the taters and coleslaw…..always the best!
This place SUCKS!!!. Try Dr. Hog’s Tyler Texas. Much better.
Baby back ribs. Full order, a-la-carte to go extra sweet bbq sauce… MMMMM When you don’t have time to make them yourself, this is the next best thing. Go late at night before they close and you’ll get a little extra in your box.
Very Good BBQ. Wow, by far the best BBQ in SFV if not north LA County. the ribs are nice and tender, not over cooked, the hot links are spicy and the potato balls are yummy. Their sauce is very good; flavorful and not too sweet. Don’t get me wrong this joint wouldn’t come close to Texas bbq, especially any from Lockhart. However in a land where people complain about sawdust on the floor in a bbq shack they hold their own.
Absolutely delicious. Only downside is the sawdust.
